Meet Sharon and Paul.

Forest Friends is run by Sharon and Paul, a husband-and-wife team with a lifelong love of children, family, creativity and the outdoors.

Sharon has spent her life supporting children. She has worked as a childminder, in schools, and is a qualified Nursery Nurse with a degree in Supporting Learning. Her passion for helping little ones grow in confidence shines through in every Forest Friends session.

Paul is a proud Sheffield Wednesday fan, keen fisherman, talented woodworker and lifelong outdoor enthusiast. A roofer by trade, he previously ran his own business before passing it on to his son.

Together, Sharon and Paul have been married for 37 years. They are proud parents to 3 adult children, grandparents to 4 wonderful grandsons, and adoptive parents to 2 amazing sons. After 16 years of fostering and years spent being the fun, daft aunt and uncle to a big extended family, they bring warmth, care and playful energy to Forest Friends.
